This 'ART OF THINKING' session will be a social, thought provoking ‘talk and discussion’ event, run by Philosopher Dr Greg Scorzo, centred around the theme of Equality. This will be a taster session of what is possible to carry out within your specific businesses around any organisational issue. It is not a training event, but a chance to reflect and think about what we mean when we talk about Equality. For example, is equality desirable? What does equality mean? How do equality and diversity relate to each other?
This Event is aimed at anyone who deals with staff or is simply passionate about investing in people within their business organisation. Regardless of the sector you work in, or how big your organisation is, everyone legally abides by the Equal Opportunities and Discrimination (Equality Act 2010) and develops their own Equal Opportunities Policies. We will be focussing primarily on the differences between equality of opportunities and equality of outcomes and how this impacts our particular viewpoints.
This event on the one hand will be about thinking about a new approach to build communication, collaboration and cohesion within the workplace, around different viewpoints regarding Equality. On the other hand it will be a great chance to informally network and share experiences with people from a variety of Leicester businesses.

6pm – 7pm - Entertaining presentation by Philosopher Dr Greg Scorzo, followed by discussion
