ABOUT ABOUT

In our world of rapidly developing technologies, businesses require skills to enable them to utilise and combine technologies in creative ways.  This two-hour workshop will explore creation of public value through the use of creative technologies in the city. Beginning with a brief introduction on the various roles of creative technologies within our future cityscapes, the workshop will explore how applications of creative technologies may contribute to both economic growth and citizen wellbeing.

Participants may be creative technologies artists/developers, businesses (including SMEs) or public realm stakeholders. No prior knowledge or expertise in creative technologies or creative and cultural industries is required but openness to the breadth of creative possibilities of emerging and new technologies would be beneficial.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the roles of creative technologies and how it contributes to economic growth and citizen wellbeing.
