It costs money to innovate and grow successful businesses.  Within Leicestershire and the East Midlands there is a wealth of support and funding available for companies to access. This can be for capital equipment, innovation, job creation, apprenticeships and growth capital.  Learn about the funding and support available to businesses in Charnwood and the East Midlands area and connect with some of the key organisations that can help you find the right funding for your business.

“A Wealth of Opportunity” is an informal networking event to be held at the Organ Grinder in Loughborough on Thursday the 7th of November where you can talk to a number of key business support organisations.

Confirmed Speakers

Sam Stephens, Director of TBAT Innovation will provide an update on funding from Innovate UK and HMRC R&D Tax Credits

Victoria Patel, Project Leader in Innovation at Medilink East Midlands will cover the support available under the ERDF-funded SOLSTICE programme for Life Science companies in Leicester and Leicestershire.

Jeff Mallows, Senior Business Advisor at innovate2succeed will talk about the innovate2succeed programme and how it can help you nurture innovation more effectively, rapidly commercialise concepts, and grow your bottom line,

Shannon Stodd, Innovation Fellow for Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, will highlight the opportunity to identify and overcome your business challenges. Find out how to access world-leading expertise and facilities at the University of Leicester through Free Innovation Projects via the Leicester Innovation Hub.

This event, organised by LATi in partnership with inCharnwood, is open to all businesses – from SMEs to larger enterprises.

It will be particularly valuable for those who are searching for new sources of funding, are looking to expand their businesses, or wish to set up business in the region, as well as heads and senior decision makers of high-tech and scientific businesses including:
